UC Irvine Finds Concrete Reabsorbs Carbon

A recent report from researchers at the University of California, Irvine documents that placed concrete reabsorbs much of the carbon emitted during the cement manufacturing process.

An international team of researchers including UCI Earth system scientist Steven Davis has found that over time, cement reabsorbs a significant portion of the CO2 emitted when the material was manufactured. Steven Davis / UCI
